Fine Arts Master's
Master's
The Master of Fine Arts (M.E.T.) is an educational community that ensures the organization of a field of research and interdisciplinary dialogue for the cultivation of students' critical thinking regarding their work but also regarding the trends of the diverse international and domestic visual reality. Faced with this reality, which is characterized on the one hand by an unprecedented storm of positions and expressive versions, on the other hand by the advantage of direct information, the M.E.T. community enhances the creativity of young artists, inspires and facilitates the artistic process for the development and deepening of their work. M.E.T. It also aims to cultivate self-awareness for the acquisition of students' autonomy, so that they can mark their own place in the world of contemporary art with their work, interacting with the new data produced by the shifting boundaries of rapid cultural changes. The main objective of the Program is for its graduates to acquire further artistic skills and theoretical training in fields related to contemporary visual practices so that they are able to respond with increased skills and performance to the demands of their professional field, a university career or a path in other sectors of education and culture in Greece and abroad.
