The PG.S.P. is part of the strategic planning of the University, is governed by scientific coherence and aims to provide students with basic scientific principles, comprehensive knowledge and methods that make them capable scientists for the creation of new knowledge, the application of which has a direct impact on the sustainable planning and management of the agro-ecosystems of Greece and the wider Mediterranean region, taking into account microclimate changes and extreme weather phenomena in their ecosystem services. Graduates will be capable on the one hand of staffing any national or international, research, production or administrative organization and on the other hand of strengthening research in interdisciplinary, topical and critical areas for the country, such as environmental protection and agricultural production. The duration of study at PG.S.P. which leads to the receipt of the Graduate Diploma (MSc) is three (3) semesters, which includes the time for preparing and evaluating the Master's Thesis.
