To provide a high level of expertise, to promote research and to train high-level executives and scientists who are able to understand the interdisciplinary approach to tourism, to follow the technological breakthroughs in the tourism sector, to turn innovation into entrepreneurship, and to contribute to research in theoretical and applied areas of the scientific field of tourism. Graduates of the ICPD will constitute the personnel that can be employed in tourism and local development issues, in particular in the fields of economy and regional development, spatial planning and law, innovation and entrepreneurship, environment and sustainable tourism development, and management of cultural and religious heritage. The graduates of the I.P.M.S. will respond in the best way to the needs of both tourism enterprises and tourism planning and management bodies in the Greek and international space
