MA in Digital Media, Communication and Journalism

The M.A. in Digital Media, Communication and Journalism is a full-time, English-taught, program designed to equip graduates with both theoretical insight and practical skills in contemporary media environments. Students select one of three specializations — European Journalism, Digital Media, Culture & Communication, or Risk Communication & Crisis Journalism — each combining core courses, electives, hands-on labs, and a final dissertation. Graduates will be prepared for roles as media specialists, analysts, planners or consultants, able to work in international, multicultural contexts, engage in critical, ethically minded journalism, and apply digital tools and new media strategies in public, private, or non-profit sectors. The program also aims to build capacity for research and provides a strong foundation for doctoral studies.Graduates of the Departments of Journalism, Media or Communication as well as graduates of Humanities and Social Sciences of universities in Greece or recognized similar institutions abroad. Graduates of TEI departments of a relevant subject are also accepted.
