Protection of Cultural Heritage and Monuments of Nature from the Effects of Climate Change
The Joint MSc in Protection of Cultural Heritage and Monuments of Nature from the Effects of Climate Change is offered by Hellenic Open University in collaboration with the Academy of Athens. This multidisciplinary distance-learning program combines climatology, environmental science, engineering, architecture, archaeology, and the arts to equip students with the knowledge and skills to mitigate and adapt to the effects of climate change on natural and cultural heritage sites worldwide.Eligible for admission are:Graduates of Greek universities or recognized foreign institutions with a relevant field of study, graduates of technical education institutions with a relevant field of study. Graduates of other university departments or technical education institutions may also be accepted, provided they have certified knowledge of English at level B2 and a second language at level C2 (the second language may be Greek). The relevance of the first degree is assessed by the Academic Supervisory Committee and approved by the Hellenic Open University Management Committee. Only holders of a recognized undergraduate degree are accepted.
