The program aims to provide advanced scientific training and specialization in key areas of environmental science, management, and technology, with a focus on addressing global environmental challenges. The program offers three specialization tracks: 1. Environmental Policy and Biodiversity Conservation 2. Ecological Engineering, Energy and Climate Change 3. Research in Environmental Sciences Specializations (1) and (2) are taught in Greek, while specialization (3) is taught in English. The program combines interdisciplinary knowledge from environmental policy, ecology, conservation biology, environmental economics, ecological engineering, energy systems, and low-carbon technologies. It emphasizes applied research and prepares graduates to address complex environmental problems under the framework of planetary and climate change.
