Intelligent Computer Systems Master's
Master's
The purpose of the proposed Research-Based Master’s Program "Intelligent Information Systems" is to fill a significant gap in the research training of young scientists by enhancing their ability to study, design, organize, and conduct research in Intelligent Information Systems. The proposed M.S. program is expected to make a decisive contribution to the theoretical and practical preparation of future Ph.D. candidates as well as future computer scientists with a strong research background. To achieve this goal, the students’ curriculum includes:
(a) during the first semester, a series of courses that provide the necessary tools for a researcher in Intelligent Information Systems, focusing on research methodologies and specialized topics in Intelligent Systems,
(b) in the second and third semesters, the selection of a research topic by each student under the supervision of a faculty member specializing in a specific field, who will be responsible for teaching and guiding the student through all necessary stages of research (literature review, critical selection, formulation of a research question, design and implementation of the problem-solving process, evaluation of results, and identification of open issues for future resolution.
In the last two semesters, the goal involves writing scientific articles to be submitted to an international conference and a peer-reviewed scientific journal, respectively.
