Personalized Medicine

The International MSc in Personalized Medicine aims to educate graduate students to plan, implement and evaluate personalized medicine programs and actions. Personalized Medicine is a rapidly evolving field, covering the diagnostic and therapeutic spectrum of all diseases. In the context of Personalized Medicine, the molecular-biological basis of disease is studied and used for individualised treatment choices, following the principle 'the right medication for the right patient'. The MSc in Personalized Medicine covers Molecular basis of disease, Modern diagnostic approaches and biomarkers, translational research, research methodology, pharmacogenomics, clinical medicine, biomedicine, biotechnology and economics of targeted therapies.Graduates of Greek higher education institutions of Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry and Nursing and similar, equivalent foreign institutions.
