Precision Medicine and Novel Therapies (PRETH)

The Master’s in Precision Medicine and Novel Therapies trains professionals in health, diagnostics, and pharmaceuticals to deliver personalized, predictive, and precise patient care. The program develops skills in analyzing patient and laboratory data, designing treatments, scientific writing, and experimental/clinical planning. Students gain expertise in genetics, diagnostics, and novel therapies, preparing them to implement precision medicine approaches in clinical and research settings.The following graduates are accepted into the program:1. Medical and biomedical sciences, such as Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Bioinformatics, and related departments, as well as graduates specializing in human disease data analysis.2. Engineering and Information Technology departments, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Information Technology, Computer Science or Information Technology with applications in Biomedicine.3. Other relevant departments of domestic universities or recognized foreign institutions, following an assessment of relevance by the Curriculum Committee and approval by the Hellenic Open University's Administrative Committee.4. Graduates of other departments may also be accepted following a relevant recommendation by the Curriculum Committee and a decision by the Administrative Committee.Prerequisite: knowledge of English at level C1 and Greek or another European language at least at level B2 (according to the Common European Framework of Reference). The total financial cost for students who choose A’ Structure is €4850. For students who choose Β’ Structure, financial cost is €4700.
