Higher Education Policy: Theory and Praxis

The Master in Higher Education Policy: Theory and Praxis (MaHEP) is a one-year, 60 ECTS online MSc offered by the University of Patras in collaboration with the Universities of Peloponnese and the Aegean. Taught in English, it is designed for professionals and graduates seeking to deepen their understanding of higher education as a social institution and field of policy development at national, European, and global levels. The program covers strategic planning, quality assurance, research methodology, and culminates in a thesis project. All activities are conducted online, with examinations held in Patras. MaHEP is the first program of its kind in Greece and one of only nine in Europe.Holders of a first-cycle degree from a Greek university or equivalent foreign institution are eligible for admission to the program, provided they have certified sufficient knowledge of the English language.
